The SWIFTERS proposal will establish a new startup and investigate the commercial exploitation of a proprietary multi-drone technology platform for aerial security and surveillance operations. We have partnered with first responders from day one to design a mission-critical, automated and operationally-astute technology platform that takes into account the needs of stakeholders across the security sector. Our technology provides extended drone operations both in the time and space dimension achieved using proprietary algorithms that intelligently manage drone fleets, while state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms are used for real-time video analysis to offer actionable information to our drone management algorithms. Through preliminary prototype testing we have demonstrated the operational efficiency gains achieved that are directly translatable to operational reductions both in time and cost.
Through SWIFTERS, we are looking to validate the proposed technology platform to the market by engaging with the security service providers to understand their specific needs, recruit high-skilled personnel to develop and tailor the SWIFTERS value proposition and features based on the market’s needs, test our prototype and attract our first customers.
