To revolutionize the risk evaluation and loss management in the Insurance sector by the provision of robust solutions in the field of AIDriven Geospatial Analytics. The new software tools and services, delivered via a cloud-based SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform, will be exploiting the interdisciplinary expertise of the applicants, namely in machine learning, computer vision, high-performance computing (HPC), remote sensing and earth system modeling, innovating beyond the current state-of-the-art.
The approach will be capitalizing on the big and diverse nature of presently accessible data, such as satellite and aerial images, hyperspectral sensors, photogrammetry, weather reanalyses and models, and multisensory readings. Once validated in a beach-head sector, our long-term vision is to extend our services to cover a wider span of industries and objects (i.e agriculture, land management, real estate management, etc.), through a comprehensive set of applications and supporting decision making by the analysis of multi-sensory georeferenced and geosocial datasets.
